Our Newest Inside
Outside Star is our one and only Jessica McGhee, Hi-Lo Personal Trainer! Jessica came to Inside
Outside as a Kinesiology Intern in the Fall of 2011. At the end of
her Internship she became a member of the Inside Outside Staff and
received training as a Hologic DXA Operator. While at Inside
Outside she was the driving force behind production of our two YouTube
Videos and became a member of the 500 Club and the Row Your Own Weight
Club. In addition to her strength gains, she had great personal results
with her own body composition which her earned the Inside Outside Star
for this Newsletter. Ask to see her Six Pack!
and Inside Outside wish Personal Trainer Jessica best wishes as
she leaves Inside Outside to assume a full time Personal Trainer
Position at Gold's Gym in Austin, Texas. Jessica plans to continue to pursue her goal
of becoming a Physician Assistant. She will be missed by me her
many friends at Inside Outside!!
August 2011, I was given the opportunity to come join Inside
Outside Wellness Center as an UTSA Kinesiology Intern and
since then I have gained a whirlwind of knowledge and
experience that has helped me change Inside and Out. When I
started as an intern I weighed about 145 pounds and was
around 25% body fat according to the DXA scanner. I was
what’s considered a “skinny fat” person which was pretty eye
opening to me. I took what I learned as an intern about
strength training/nutrition and gradually adopted a new,
healthier lifestyle. It wasn’t easy and change does not
occur over night, but I remained consistent and learned from
my mistakes. Now as of August 2013, I am 135 lbs and 15%
body fat. I put on about 7 pounds of muscle and lost 14
pounds of body fat. I feel great and am in the best shape
that I’ve ever been in. I plan on keeping it up from here
on out. Thank you Dr. Christian for being an amazing
teacher/mentor, thank you to my fellow trainers that
encourage me and share a passion for fitness, and thank you
to my clients that make personal training well worth it to

Jessica gained 6.7lbs of muscle and lost 14.6lbs of fat
while at Inside Outside. She lost 9.3% body fat!

Jessica has made some of the most dramatic strength
changes we have seen!! She is in the Row Your Own
Weight and 500 Club!
